[He chuckles at that and oh, he sounds smug, doesn't he?]

I asked because you'd just nipped me. [ grumbles!! bumps her head against his shoulder in the tiniest headbutt. her cheeks are so pink. ]

And then made an offer when I already was. Sounds like an escalation invitation to me~

[He chirps at the headbutt, scratching lightly just behind her ears.]

I said a lot of things earlier. Do you have an experiment in mind, Chocochi?

[ Now that's an interesting sensation, ticklish but very pleasantly so. She tilts her head into it, the grumbles fading into an appreciative murmur ]

You wondered what would happen if you bit between my wings. And.

And. I'm curious about it, too. And some other stuff, kinda, but I don't think I'm anywhere near ready to try something near my neck.

[There is a thoughtful hum, though his fingers still at mention of her neck.]

[He debates between two avenues of conversation.]

There was a reason I asked you to bite my neck. [There is less smug. Something quieter, softer.]

[Because, well, he can guess why she brought up her neck. Its why he avoided it. The scars are quite telling.]

[He moves his hands from her hair, reaching to grab her hands and leads them up to the sides of his neck.]

[There are three scars, gashes that really would lead to pretty deadly wounds.]

[There is a shudder when he puts her hands there, but he keeps them there.]

I think so.

I didn't want another damn touch issue.

[ She lets him, keeping her hands steady and relaxed. There's definitely a bit of a shiver though. This is trust. Responsibility. There's a weight to it. ]

[He nods, pressing his face to her shoulder, forcing his breathing to remain even even as his hands are still.]

So I understand why you're hesitant. And willing to experiment when you're ready.

[ Leans her head gently against his. Her thumb strokes softly against those scars, just once. ]

... Yeah. [ a faint swallow. oof. feelings. big feelings. ] I want to. One day, with you. We can work up to it.

[He shivers at the stroke. He nods, letting out another breath and takes his hands off hers to rest at her sides.]

[It still makes him shiver, but he doesn't pull away. Fingers rubbing slow circles at her sides.]

You sounded like you have something in mind. Between your wings, on yous shoulders?

It sounds like - I think it'd be intense? But fun. And, um. Nobody'd be able to see, so ...

True. It is the kind of experiment to do in sweater weather.

My teeth are very nice. And I have a very good judge of how bad a bite will be.

Nice to know that something that hurts can feel so good. And it's nice to know I can give up control and trust you to keep me safe.

Nice to have the evidence right there on my skin. To be able to feel it later.

[He chuckles, breath hitching a bit at the nip.]

Of course. I'm very trustworthy with others safety. Especially those I like.

It is fascinating how something that hurts can feel so good. I know, there's plenty of science on how pain and pleasure goes through the same circuits and that explains the response, but its very different knowing the data and experiencing the data.
