Noise
It starts as just irritation. A metaphorical crawling under your skin. Things are too noisy, too bright, there is too much happening all the time and you can't take it all in-
It sounds so inviting, a freedom from the noise, but its wrong, its wrong, its wrong and the noise is getting louder, mechanical and foreboding as it sees you, it knows you are there, and it wants to make you apart of it.
For a moment, there is quiet.
You breathe.
And fall through water.

Then silence it, make it yours, make it you, take control and destroy what will not submit

Re: Training Room
I could keep everyone safe. Make it just bad enough to please the snake, but they don't have to keep finding new and horrifying ways to suffer. I just have to be strong enough to make them listen.
[He pulls up a holographic display of a bunker, expanding it out.]
I just need to prevent teleportation. That's the tricky bit.
Re: Training Room
If it's just about getting someone to listen to you, there's easier ways.
Re: Training Room
[Its attached to the snapper back.]
Oh, if only. But I know so many people who are willing to throw themselves into death for the smallest thing that they would fight me every step of the way then just let me handle it.
Re: Training Room
I know. Alright? The fastest way to get me to investigate a dangerous ruin, is to tell me that I can't go there.
But I've had a lifetime of being told what I can't do. What I can't have.
If you aren't careful with this sort of thing, you make yourself look like an obstacle.
Re: Training Room
[Sits down.]
What's wrong with being an obstacle? It just makes it harder for them to throw themselves into death.
Re: Training Room
Because obstacles are there for us to struggle against. Because we want to choose, even if we might choose badly.
[A careful breath.]
A friend of mine was trying to help me. I didn't appreciate it, because I thought he was trying to hold me back.
Re: Training Room
[Also welcome to massive backrest.]
I have no intentions of holding anyone back. I just want to keep them safe from dangers we can't overcome, just suffer through.
Re: Training Room
Maybe.
She should be stronger.]
"When things look impossible, look deeper, then fight like you can win."
Re: Training Room
You haven't been through the Scenarios yet.
Re: Training Room
Tell me the plan. How does protecting everyone with Kraang abilities work?
Re: Training Room
They are persuasive, but...
But we are not that far yet.

Re: Training Room
Re: Training Room
Risky cost analysis.
Re: Training Room
That is how we always operate. Sacrifice and Selfishness determine that.
Re: Training Room
Re: Training Room
[He gestures to all the plans.]
I figure out the means. They determine the should.
Re: Training Room
But you know the cost.

[Also do ever say if she's not holding that chain]
[For reasons]
Re: Training Room
This might be hard to believe, but I've managed to do it at least once.
[Actually. Since he sat down when she first touched it, this is probably where she'd be letting go.]
Re: Training Room
1/2
Re: Training Room
Guess I walked into that one. Fine. In this plan, I will be safe.
