Noise
It starts as just irritation. A metaphorical crawling under your skin. Things are too noisy, too bright, there is too much happening all the time and you can't take it all in-
It sounds so inviting, a freedom from the noise, but its wrong, its wrong, its wrong and the noise is getting louder, mechanical and foreboding as it sees you, it knows you are there, and it wants to make you apart of it.
For a moment, there is quiet.
You breathe.
And fall through water.

Then silence it, make it yours, make it you, take control and destroy what will not submit

Re: Training Room
[Confused look.] Oh! That's dad. No. Well, a bit?
He's got strong influence in one of the rooms.
Selfishness and Relations usually act as the leash, but those will be like. Donnie shaped.
Re: Training Room
Your father - it sounded like he was careful.
We talked about cost - so Selfishness is probably the higher priority. But Relations sounds like he might be easier to talk to.
Re: Training Room
And yeah, pops was. We couldn't go live with the yokai because Big Mama and Draxum wanted him and us, and we definitely couldn't live with humans without them wanting to make us experiments. So he did what he could to take care of us on his own.
He...he worked really hard to try and be good for us. [Rubs the back of his neck.] Raph did what he could to help.
Relations also has Mikey whose a lot better at this mental stuff. I'm not sure all that's going on in Selfishness, except he's out of commission and he's usually one of the stronger voices.
Re: Training Room
That’s it, then. Let’s get Relations back into play. That should cover what we need for now.
Re: Training Room
Its a good step one. Did you figure out how to make the doors yet?
Re: Training Room
I had Shelldon and PSDD to establish a connection. Is that what you mean?
Re: Training Room
You make a door and throw an emotion or memory at it and it makes a doorway.
Re: Training Room
Let me get a weapon, and then I know the right memory for relations.
Re: Training Room
Got it.
Be careful of tentacles. Metal arms are fine, but all tentacles are super bad.
Re: Training Room
[Taking a wild guess, but a training room with weapons, with Donnie? Probably she can find a good staff.]
So I've seen your father now. What about your mother? Is that, uh - Big Mama?
Re: Training Room
[There are definitely weapons. Mostly staves, but there are an assortment of others.]
No. And we do not talk about how pops used to date Big Mama. [Shudders.]
She's the biggest crime boss of the Hidden City.
We don't have a mom. Pops is pops because he raised us, we didn't know we were blood relatives until last year. Or...DNA? His human DNA made us mutant turtles, we were just turtles before that.
Re: Training Room
[Looking around. One more thing she wants, honestly. Binding, but electric-themed. Maybe there's wire she can pull from some of those machines.]
Do you remember much from before that?
Re: Training Room
[He shakes his head.] Donnie might? He's got a good memory, but that was fifteen years ago and we were babies.
[There are indeed wires she can pull from machines or the subway car.]
Re: Training Room
[Might as well yank from the subway car. Donnie probably isn't using them there. Once she's got them, going to try and cram the sword from earlier, the staff, and wiring together in the crafting menu for a spear.]
Re: Training Room
[Pop! Wires into inventory.]
[Sword + Wire + Staff = Spear with electrical capabilities with a power source.]
Re: Training Room
No bow, this time. If something disables these goggles, I won’t be able to aim. What else. . .It wouldn’t hurt to stock up. I’ll need something for a door anyway.
[You know what looks like a great thing to absolutely GO TO TOWN on with her tools? The tank. Hope that isn’t important to anyone.]
So Donatello and Leo actually are twins?
Re: Training Room
[Okay, honestly, parts just seem to keep reappearing on the tank, with different ideas and modifications taking the place of missing pieces because that's how Donnie do.]
Of course they're twins!
We're different species of turtles, its affection.
Re: Training Room
[A solid metal plate from the tank, maybe a lever? Put those in the crafting menu for a door, and then the memory she figures will get her to Relations. . .
She’s in the forest, running. She can hear the machines, Watchers scampering. The point isn’t to evade - it’s to pick them off. She plants her feet, lines up a shot with her bow, and drops the first. Another arrow - it glances off the second Watcher’s plating with a spark, and the machine turns to lunge. The second shot lands in its single red eye. Gears grind angrily behind her, and she whips about, goes into a slide under the third Watcher as it leaps. One more shot as they pass each other, and it tumbles to the ground, sparking.
Aloy gets up, looking where she knows Rost will be. Her father figure stands with his own bow drawn and ready to protect her. She wants a sign of approval, but she offers him a look of pride and challenge - go on, criticize her. As Rost lowers his bow, he gives her a single nod.
She smiles.]
Re: Training Room
[Metal Plate + Level + Prideful Memory = Door]
[It flickers for several moments, between orange and grey before settling on orange.]
Re: Training Room
[That’s her assumption with the flicker. She’ll start heading for the door.]
Listen, I’ll try not to take long. Just keep things together over here.
Re: Training Room
Re: Training Room
[She’s gonna make careful note of that. And then, through the door!]
Re: Training Room
[And actually-]
[Well, the tentacles have been banished to the far corners and both roboDonnie and Mikey have been freed]
