You're forgetting that I liked you first. [ He's just saying. Korone is great, he cares impossibly much about her given the relatively short time they've known one another, but Donnie was what pulled him in. ]
You don't need to worry about being more adultified for now. Just let me take care of you both. Eve too.
Most people are missing out, then. You weren't so hard to figure out, and you jumped at the chance to help me when we barely knew each other. Them not being smart enough to get you isn't your fault.
Usually there's symptoms. Often media can help. Growing up how my family did, we didn't really have a reference for what was neurotypical. Even dad who grew up human had a lot of trauma and mystic bullshit to deal with.
And the Depression.
Also mental health was atrocious most of his life.
But then I looked up stuff online about a character I identified with and then saw a lot of talk about them being written as autistic, and then a lot of other things started matching up on the list when I looked up symptoms and there was....there was a lot that I checked off.
Like you obviously suffer from over stimulation because of your hearing, which may not be a sign of any other neurodivergence, buuut the tricks to help with overstimulation may still help you.
I'm not sure about the PTSD thing, it might just be that, torture dimensions aside, dying and then coming back isn't the most normal thing, there's bound to be some effects.
If there's tricks for dealing with my hearing being so sensitive though, I'd be stupid to not at least hear what they are.
PTSD does not have a requirement for how severe or typical the trauma is, the point is how are you reacting to it after and how does it mess you up. There's no normal about what the Kraang did, and I got several new triggers from that.
Hm, I can compile them. Most of the time just isolating and noise canceling headphones worked for me, and we figured those out before Mikey and I went on our psychology bender, so we didn't examine it too far.
I could make a sensor that can alerts you of things when you have them in? I've done things like that before, when senses were taken away in the Temple.
That sort of thing only works when it's a proximity thing, right? In my case I'm probably better off being able to hear. That's how Korone called for me a couple of weeks ago. For example.
It's fine, I'm used to it. I mostly use the headphones for my phone.
I'll think about it. [ No offense it's just that he has a hard time trusting machines all the way. ]
She might agree to it now, yes. [ Part of him wants to make a totally unnecessary pint about make sure you're not pressuring her into it, but it's totally unnecessary so he won't. ]
I'd feel better if she had a tracker, even though my hearing is what it is. The soundproofing in some rooms is unusually good here. [ Depends how many windows and doors there are how clearly he can hear into it. ]

Re: February 8, afternoon
[There's another sniff.]
I'm just saying. Some of that is you. That you care.

Except Leo.
Leo is fairly accurate ninety percent of the time.
[EXCEPT WHEN HE'S BEING DUMB AND SELF LOATHING APPARENTLY.]

Re: February 8, afternoon
That's usually the case when someone gets it fast.

How do you know?

Also, you almost definitely have PTSD.

Compile away. Seems like you'd be good at that.
Re: February 8, afternoon
I am.

Re: February 8, afternoon
As well as destress beacons.
I should also make her and Eve an escape pods...but that wouldn't have solved the kid issue, ugh...
Re: February 8, afternoon
...The kid issue?
Re: February 8, afternoon
But I need to make security alerts everyone can wear. And Korone may agree to a tracker. [This boy has some Issues, okay.]
She was protecting kids. The escape pods are made for individuals because its hard to make sure no one gets HURT if there's more than one per pod.

You mean here? Or before?
Re: February 8, afternoon
[HE LEARNED THIS LESSON. They know his stance, and they know to not bring it up until they're seriously considering it.]
The escape pods were before. I used them in my world. Just once, but it was....mostly effective.
I didn't account for one scenario that I really should have.
