[He nods and takes the scarf, and pulling away from him. Mechanical purple hands form, as do other tools as he expands out the fabric and its kind of like watching an embroidering machine go to work, needle like tools moving the beacon slash communicator from the wrap to the scarf.]

But a tap allows it to open up communication with any connected devices as well. Double tap is off. Triple is mute. And hold is distress.

It only vibrates when distressed, I have been told audible confirmation was a terrible idea in practice.

Exactly. The whole reason I made the trackers in the first place is because dad got kidnapped and we only found him in time is because he used to date a mob boss and she liked him enough to not demand a deal. For once. [Big Mama deals are not deals any of them want to be in.] So. Trackers.

They're a lot better if someone isn't conscious. General life signs, heart rate, any extreme changes in ambient temperature, and of course location, but... [He waves a hand in the air.] They get weird about it like all of my supposedly 'invasive practices' hadn't been useful everytime they found out about them. We can't call the cops for help, I'm just being proactive!

It takes at least three passwords to get into the program and a biometric scan, with oscillating firewalls that would take a billion and one genius to hack through.

As long as it's only accessed in emergencies.

I do happen to know at least one other billion to one genius here. I'm just saying, we're not exactly cookie cutter in these parts.

Of course. They give emergency alerts when states when gone critical, either heart or temperature, which I'll need to know what's bad for you because obviously I have it set rather high for cold since terrapin base, but otherwise I've only ever accessed them when someone was missing.

Bud, he's oblivious about things like that unless someone tells him outright. I promise you that if he meant anything by it he'd have been a mess about it first. If he was in her space, either he didn't know, or he had very different and not bad intentions, or both.

[He grumbles anyway.] Still shouldn't be near her. [Grumble grumble as he finishing transferring over the beacon.]

I promise you, he has his own romantic partners and several bedmates and he still flails uncontrollably around them, he didn't mean anything by it. If Choco was offended don't you think she'd boot him into next Christmas? If she wasn't, let it be.

If he could tell, he should know better about getting close, but I am letting it be.

I'm not passive if I'm not letting something be.
