Noise
It starts as just irritation. A metaphorical crawling under your skin. Things are too noisy, too bright, there is too much happening all the time and you can't take it all in-
It sounds so inviting, a freedom from the noise, but its wrong, its wrong, its wrong and the noise is getting louder, mechanical and foreboding as it sees you, it knows you are there, and it wants to make you apart of it.
For a moment, there is quiet.
You breathe.
And fall through water.

Then silence it, make it yours, make it you, take control and destroy what will not submit

Re: Entrance
[Glass get!]
Re: Entrance
[MENU: metal, glass, the computer she pulled from the fridge...goggles/headphones recipe compatible, maybe?]
How about - were you able to save any data on them?
Re: Entrance
On the Kraang tentacles?]
Re: Entrance
[No hesitation in putting those goggles on, and checking the visual settings by cycling through them while she looks at the drone.]
I'm Aloy, by the way. Do you have a name?
Re: Entrance
I'm SHELLDON. Nice to meet you, dudette.
As for the Kraang...most of that data is deeper. Dee spent a long time keeping that stuff away from the surface.
Re: Entrance
[Okay. Okay, she can work with these. Train's partly on tracks, right? She'd like to go start prying a track segment up.]
Is it encrypted? Maybe we could find an override.
Re: Entrance
Yeah, he's my creator. Papatello.
Its kind of encrypted. You kind of have to make your own way of reaching Dee. He's kind of difficult like that. That's why he gave you the tools, so you can make pathways.
Re: Entrance
[Papatello. She looks at the Metal Beam. Sighs, and changes her plan.]
An Oseram I ran into had this trick.
[She'll scan the train - there's got to be some wire in there somewhere to collect.]
We used a spike and a power source to boost a signal. You have power, blue teeth. [And a papa.] Maybe I can tie a signal spike into your system, and we can call him.
Re: Entrance
[There are indeed wires in there. So many wires.]
A boosted signal. It might work. I don't know who we'll contact though.
Re: Entrance
Target PSDD. It's where a disaster can't get to him.
Re: Entrance
[Gestures drone-y arm to one of the train cars.]
Re: Entrance
Okay. I think I've got what I'll need. Let's...go see about your bed bro.
[Head for that train car, careful to scan for those Kraang things.]
Re: Entrance
[They are definitely less here.]
[As she moves, she can see its not just a train station. There are signs of life. Pizza boxes. Actions figures and comics. Pieces of tech like tablets and phones. The odd skateboard.]
[SHELLDON puttering after her, not flying as fast, to a subway car that is just full of what appears to be half finished tech projects.]
[And a pristine bed.]
Yo, PSDD! We got a guest!
[A missile launcher extends from the bed, focused on Aloy.] Designation?
Re: Entrance
[She'll scoop up a tablet on the way. Eying that skateboard WONDER WHAT THAT'S ABOUT.
...And freeze, when a missile launcher extends.]
It's Aloy. Donatello's teammate. And Shelldon.
Re: Entrance
[A few beats of Missile trained on her]
[And then it retracts and PSDD looks like a normal bed with a control console on one end.] Aloy of Robin's Egg, acceptable designation.
Haha, yeah, he's a little grumpy with newbies. Sorry, forgot to warn you.
Re: Entrance
[Just going to go ahead and start trying to craft her signal boost. Metal beam + wire + SHELLDON?]
PSDD, I know you're supposed to be ready for all kinds of emergencies. So I'm betting you've got something on the Kraang, too.
Re: Entrance
I was built before the Kraang.
Yeah, but you can find the disaster info, right?
....I can speak with Contingency at this time.
Re: Entrance
Re: Entrance
Why would he not be?
Just a feeling. But all right. You ready there, Aloy?
Re: Entrance
[Her hand goes to the goggles, out of habit, and she nods.]
Ready. Uh - initiate?
Re: Entrance
[A red doorway suddenly forms beside them]
[She's made her first pathway.]
Re: Entrance
Step through the doorway.]
