[Leonardo watches that. Listens as he still drones on while he bleeds out of a slit throat. As Donnie stumbles back against the tree, Leonardo limps the few steps closer to be snout to snout.

He considers for a moment before yanking the kunai out of his thigh and quickly aims to jam it in the other side of Donnie's neck.

It only takes a moment. Looking him in the eyes and searching Leonardo's memories, the muscle memory. And lets out a single chirp. Twin.]

[There's another pained grimace, the fabricated hand letting go of the wound to grab the kunai. He's not stopping two wounds, but might as well attempt to keep the weapon away.]

[The chirp catches him off guard a moment]

[And then he laughs in his face. Wet, so incredibly wet and distorted.] Sad.

[Then he chirps back. The sound Leo always made before approaching a hidden Donnie.]

[He's coming for Leo.]

[Letting his own Ninpo flare up, reaching out, a promise, a reassurance.]

[Even as his legs start to give out, body only supported by the tree.]

[While Belos doesn't understand the meaning of that sound, Leo does. And deep in his own mind where he's being held, Leo's eye tears up watching this happen.

And then he feels the ninpo and he's done for, letting his weight hang against the restraints he's being kept in and lets himself cry.]

Well. I suppose now we're both brother-killers, aren't we, Leonardo?

[And he'll use Donnie's jacket to clean the blood from the blade before leaving.]

[Well, that's just rude.]

[He keeps a hold of the kunai for as long as his ninpo lasts. Which, well, is until he actually dies entirely. Fabrication is a stubborn one like that.]

[But as he slumps fully to the ground, eyes losing their light, he can feel his phone vibrate under his hand with the last sent message.]
