Bootyyyshaker999: Its true. I usually find focus is the issue. I love my brothers, truly I do, but when we're not on the same page regarding a certain subject, it can be next to impossible to get them to focus.
Bootyyyshaker999: Though that will hopefully change. Leo's finally acknowledged he has a head for strategy.
Bootyyyshaker999: I'm quite good at plans ahead of time, but I'll admit he's slightly better at figuring things out in real time.
Bootyyyshaker999: In short, I have a great deal of experience in coming up with plans and in making sure they get executed.

Robins_Egg_18: I'm not sure it's a "trick" when the one you interacted with was a fragment of my personality.
Robins_Egg_18: You could even say that was my younger self, though with some differences.
Robins_Egg_18: But regardless, he is part of me. A facet of me is still me. I don't mind acknowledging that.
Robins_Egg_18: I understand you'll have nightmares if you sleep now, but I still recommend getting some sort of mental rest, if that sort of thing would be helpful to you.

Bootyyyshaker9000: The trick would be on yourself then me.
Bootyyyshaker9000: That or a trick as in early warning that your approach to things will change. Mikey does that with various doctor personas.
Bootyyyshaker9000: Meditation can help and I plan to do so. I'm supposed to do it daily for that reason, and help focus the mystic powers. Usually I skip it because I'm too deep into a project, but I can walk away from a kitchen.

Robins_Egg_18: I'm still not sure I understand what you mean by "trick"
Robins_Egg_18: But in any case, my acknowledgment means I'm not doing that, right?
Robins_Egg_18: It isn't like any of us will be able to use a kitchen right now anyway, besides Crow-san who can use the stoves outside
Robins_Egg_18: It's frustrating to leave a project on pause, but as far as I can tell, it isn't a taboo of any of ours, so there's no harm in taking it slow

Bootyyyshaker9000: Trick being less a deception as more a clever act for a certain type of effect.
Bootyyyshaker9000: It's something Mikey does. In general, he is a sweet, silly, kind person. He is also extremely soft hearted. However, whenever he says there is a job for Dr. Delicate Touch, it's both a warning to us to not take harsh words to heart, but also he is going to say some very harsh things and the core of them is his true frustration.
Bootyyyshaker9000: Such as one time, we allowed someone to stay in our home out of guilt and pity and they ended up overstaying their welcome. The others couldn't get the nerve to tell him off and he had already gotten used to my dismissive behavior. So Dr. Delicate Touch took control because Mikey is less able to be swayed by puppy dog eyes while in that persona.
Bootyyyshaker9000: As he says, Dr. Delicate Touch feels nothing, it is a means to an end persona. He is allowed to be overly harsh and even cruel when he's Dr. DT.
Bootyyyshaker9000: That is the 'trick.'

Bootyyyshaker9000: I can cook basic meals as well. They don't have very exciting flavors, but I generally don't burn anything.
Bootyyyshaker9000: I don't like leaving projects for long, especially when it shouldn't be hard to accomplish. Though I still need more bricks, but that's a meditation in a way.

Bootyyyshaker9000: I do. It's quiet and easier to move.

Robins_Egg_18: I think it's difficult to explain to someone who doesn't exist in a similar way. At least, I don't have the eloquence to articulate it. My apologies.

Bootyyyshaker9000: It may not matter regardless. I've never understood emotions the way others do.

Bootyyyshaker9000: I've tasted blood in an area that's too big to not have an apex predator present.

Bootyyyshaker9000: I'm a mutant ninja turtle. An aquatic turtle. I move better underwater than I do land.
Bootyyyshaker9000: I didn't run into it, but the area with blood meant a lot of fish died at once. That means a feeding frenzy, either from a swarm, or something large, but either one is a very serious threat when most drown in less then five minutes and move like they're half intoxicated.

Robins_Egg_18: Ah, you meant literally tasting blood. I understand.
Robins_Egg_18: Then it's dangerous after all . . . that's a shame. Lakes and rivers can be quite soothing to be around.

Bootyyyshaker9000: Yes. Breathing underwater means doing it through my mouth and then I taste everything. It's a whole process.
Bootyyyshaker9000: Unfortunately. Any beach days will likely mean I would have to focus on being a lifeguard, just to be safe.
Bootyyyshaker9000: Though, thoughtful hum, we could make barriers. Underwater walls the river is high enough to get over, but make it inconvenient for a large predator to do so. If we add nets on top, it could corral them to specific parts.

Robins_Egg_18: Is that something we could do while we're in this state?

Bootyyyshaker9000: I could. Like I have stated, being underwater is soothing. That would counter most of my ailments. I can fight effectively underwater. There could be people on the land, ready to aid should it be necessary, or to keep an eye out for disturbances to find their locations.
