Okay. First, has she told you anything about the game we got dragged into? There's something...s? outside that, too, but I - I'm honestly not sure if she'd have said anything about it under normal circumstances.
We all started with some level of amnesia. MK-san was a total blank, my amnesia self had — I think everything up until before my first kidnapping? [ As far as she knows, which is disconcerting as ever to think about and she's just gonna leave it at that, thanks. ] Eve-chan … at the start of the game, while we were still trying to figure out where we were and what was happening, she said something like … she thought we were all at the facility?
[ She ticks off one finger. Not the most auspicious start, right? ]
Plus, it was one of those games where something feels kinda off, and you only figure it out when someone finds an item that shows you people's stats. [ Ticks off another finger. ]
… [ Slowly ticks off a third finger as she goes on, ] The big thing is ... it was built around us. Not everything, but a lot of it, and it was all really personal stuff. The first room had the "Sun Halo" — a booby-trapped statue that dropped baby me and an idiot phantom thief into a puzzle dungeon back home. Another room was based off the mountain where Wukong-san was imprisoned … Dad found some item or another that let him use a limited number of shadow portals. Some of the enemies we encountered were very … very, very targeted.
Our objective was to go around finding keys so we could unlock a chained up door. The last key we needed was in a cell. Eve-chan's cell … with a few other things mixed in, but — still. It was designed to get to her. Her muzzle was in there, and once we were all inside, the door shut behind us. Eve-chan ... she was really freaked out, and she said ... [ Her brows furrow. ] ... "I don't know how to not do this alone." I didn't have time to talk to her more about it then, 'cuz then we had to ...
Fight a kraang...ish. [ ANYWAY, ]
... Despite all that, it wasn't until the muzzle that things started to feel ... [ she gestures with her hands ] Eve-chan sneaked off while everyone was recovering from the fight to pick up the muzzle, and it was like ... like a switch flipped.

[ PULLING OUT A NOTEBOOK ]
Think you'd be able to put it into words? The offness.
Re: June 10
[He closes mouth.]
[He looks up.]
I feel you may have forgotten who you're talking to.
[FEELINGS INTO WORDS IS REAL HARD, SONGBIRD.]
Re: June 10
No, I'm just worried enough I thought it'd be worth asking. Worried enough I'm sitting here wondering if memory marbles would be an overstep.
[ WHICH IS. PROBABLY TELLING. ]
Would yes-no questions be doable or should I just lay out what I think so far?
Re: June 10
I don't think Eve has had a problem sharing things if asked?
