[You find yourself in a large stone room. It has enough room to stand up, even for the tallest, and plenty of space to walk around. Likely Donnie absolutely exploded the insides of this rocky area to make this much space. The walls and corners are cut cleanly thanks to his mystic tools.]

[In the ceiling, recessed with some metal holders are crystals that shine with a warm light. A magic sunlamp.]

[There are a few inches of water on the floor, and probably most impressively is he's managed to make it so the water cycles through to the ceiling to make a light waterfall across all the walls. There are some polished boulders that provide some dry spots in the room.]

[But do make it very hard to try and write or carve things onto any surface in the room.]

[There is also a door with no handle on this side. It's half slid into the stone and has a metal cover, though any investigation will reveal the door is very thick, so probably stone makes up its center.]

[When people being dropped off]

[They can tell Donnie is coming back because the wall with the door is suddenly covered in a purple pink wall that will be shoving them across the room to push them away from the door. Then he'll open the door and drop off the person he's caught, or the food for people.]

[Each time the wall comes up, almost everytime, the walls seem to be getting...pinker.]

Korone's going to try teleporting me out once she's recovered. I tried glyphs on the door, but it didn't work.

[ he rubs at a smudge of blood on his shirt. ]

...are you okay? What happened?

Oh, uh. This is just from drawing glyphs in my own blood!

[ hunter. deadpan: ]

[ lifting her head to look at it, tongueflicking once ]

Bastard left enough metal down here for me to work with. I can use it to find or make weak spots.

[ Hunter's face lights up. ]

If you can do that, I can make another ice glyph.

...Does a "glyph" use up what it's drawn with? And do you have to be the one to draw it to use it.

Just the ink and the paper? But you can draw it on solid objects too. And anyone can use them.

I can make it so you can draw glyphs with or in the metal. Or maybe copy them with it myself. But— that's not so good if it uses the metal up.

If it's drawn on metal, it won't. It mostly just uses up fragile materials, like paper. Or the topmost layer of my skin!

[ hauling herself up gingerly to pick her way over to the door— she tongueflicks at it a few times, then touches her nose to it and narrows her eyes in focus.

at first, it doesn't look like much has changed— but then the shine of the metal covering it intensifies and goes wobbly, and the majority of it starts to slide down the door like liquid wax to leave bare stone behind. there's a patch left where her nose is touching, though. ]

Try fingerpainting. Just... don't move too fast.

[ Whoa. Hunter stares at the ... molten ... metal? Reaches out a hand ... ]

Is it hot?

Nope.

[ it really is just like the metal spontaneously decided to be liquid at room temperature, rather than solid. if he touches it, it feels a little like oil: cool and thick, with a sort of slickness to it. it doesn't seem to want to stick to him much, either, so he'll have to sort of scoop it up. ]

Let me know if you need it thinner. Or thicker.

[ right. huh. okay. weird material to work with, but ... ]

A little stickier maybe? Like ink.

[ He starts to draw a circle on the wall with it. ]

I'll try. It sort of tries to keep to itself...

[ shutting her eyes entirely, after a moment. the metal doesn't quite make it to ink consistency after that, but it's at least somewhat easier to work with ]
